SUMMARY:Meditation Day: The Light Within\, connecting with our Inner Child
DESCRIPTION:The theme of this Meditation Day is: The Light Within\, connecting with our Inner Child.\n  \n \nConnecting with our inner child can be one of the most transformative approaches to our healing. The inner child is a metaphor for the  wounded part in us\, the ways we were not seen when we were a child\, not cared for\, maybe even attacked\, how our needs were not met and we were not loved the way we needed. Connecting with the wounded child brings us in touch again with our vulnerability\, our humanness. In addition to the wounded child in us there is the magical child\, which is the doorway to our lost innocence\, spontaneity\, true joy and aliveness\, our strength and authenticity\, and more.. to the connection with our True Self. Usually the magical child is underneath the wounded child\, which is why it is important to re-visit and embrace our wounded child.\nIn this day we look forward to sharing active meditations and more in a safe space of vulnerability and support\, as we move towards connecting with our inner child. We may meet the innocence and joy or we may meet some of our wounds\, both are welcome and there is space for sharing and deepening. This supports us to start allowing ourself to return to our true feeling in vulnerability\, towards true regulation\, to our authenticity\, with compassion for ourself. \nThis theme is connected to our biweekly evening Groups for the Inner Child that we are starting on September 17 for the 3rd year in a row.  More information can be found here and here. A beautiful follow up could also be the part IV basic training of the Essential Psychotherapy Institute\, which supports us towards conquering our toxic super ego\, often this is in the way of our loving connection with our inner child. More information here. \nDuring the day we will: \n\n\nground more deeply in the body\, our connection with our true feeling \n\n\nwelcome our vulnerability in a space of support \n\n\nreconnect with spontaneity\, aliveness\, and laughter \n\n\ncultivate awareness\, bringing us in touch with our inner guide \n\n\nIn a safe atmosphere we create space for sharing\, supporting each other’s process\, and deepening the connection with our inner child and our Self. Throughout the day as well as exploring a variety of meditations\, we will work with grounding exercises\, bodywork\, and experiential practices. \nThe day is facilitated by Adhira and Imani\, a facilitator and a trainee of the EPI. \nLocation\nVenue: Wajid Osho Meditation Centre\nOnline participation via Zoom is also possible\, please email in advance if you like to join via zoom and we can send you the link. \nProgram \n08:00 – Reception and tea \n08:15 – Dynamic Meditation (with explanation and additional centering exercises) \n09:45 – 10:45 – Breakfast break and shower \n10:45 – 13:15 – Introduction of the theme\, introducing ourselves and active meditation \n13:15 – 14:30 – Lunch break \n14:30 – 18:30 – Bodywork connected to the theme of the day\, active meditations\, process support\, and sharing \nCosts \nEarly bird: €75 (until 7/9)\nRegular price: €85 \nPayment can be made on the day in cash or via bank transfer. \nIt is also possible to join only the morning Dynamic Meditation.
