SUMMARY:BODYWORK GROUP - first of 7
DESCRIPTION:BODYWORK GROUP 1\n  \n \nThis is the first of our NEW series of evenings where we will work deeply with the body.\nThe body is our book of life\, all our experiences are imprinted in the body. \nTo experience our authentic Self we have to be in the body\, it is our direct contact with reality. \nWhen we are not connected to our body\, when we don’t feel our body\, we loose our ground and our connection to reality. We may touch a hot stove and not withdraw our hand\, because we are not aware we are in danger. We feel lost\, insecure\, and unsafe. We don’t have a sense of Self\, because we don’t feel our Self. We feel our Self via our body. We feel empty or a sense of being incomplete\, and avoid this feeling by looking to fill ourselves up from the outside\, with what we call narcissistic supplies. \nIn the Bodywork evenings that we are starting this evening and continue biweekly on Tuesdays\, we will use a variety of techniques to work with our body and the breath inspired by among others Reich\, Lowen and Marcher\, to ground ourselves in our body\, become aware and let go of tension so we can re-experience our body of Bliss. From there is where we feel the sense of Self. \nWe work with our body according to what happened to us developmentally and structurally\, bringing corrective experiences and techniques.\nWe will work with expression\, with safe touch\, with the breath\, and have space for personal sharing and process in an atmosphere of vulnerability and support. \nAs we work with our body and come to more relaxation\, more flow\,  more presence in our body\, we also come in touch with the emotional content that impacts our body\, and that we have split off.  We will have opportunities to release\, and we can begin to let go. Slowly we come back to our natural state as we restore the energy flow in our body\, feel our aliveness as well as our solidity\, and we reconnect with the sense of Self as we get rooted in our body. SUMMARY:GROUP for conquering the toxic SUPER EGO
DESCRIPTION:This afternoon 14.00 – 17.00 we start our new online series of 12 evening groups\, which are the continuation of the online Empowerment group series that completed in April. \nWe will be Conquering the toxic Super Ego – a process towards victory over the unhealthy voices and tendencies that keep us stuck in the misery of our past. \n \nIn our lives today\, most of us have lost touch with our true Inner Voice\, the voice of our conscience\, which functions as a guiding light in our lives and can lead us to our true purpose. We are also disconnected from our intuition. Instead of listening to our true Inner Voice and our true intuition\, we often listen to and identify with limiting\, critical and punishing voices within\, us that keep us confined within a prison of false beliefs and ideas about ourselves and life\, stemming from the conditioning of our childhood. \nIn these groups\, step by step we take an in-depth look at these parts of our psychological structure that constitute the ego-superego constellation. Through experiential work and exercises we will see how the toxic superego – which is basically the internalized toxic voices of our parents – still controls us and takes away our inner regulation and our autonomy.
