How can meditation, especially active meditation, help me to deepen in myself? To feel more intimate with myself?
Meditation is not an escape from the world; it is a homecoming. On a daily basis, we live on the surface—trapped in roles, responsibilities, and external expectations. When you close your eyes and turn your attention inward, you begin to build the most important relationship of your life: the one with yourself.
Self-intimacy is born when you stop judging what you feel. Meditation teaches you to land in your body, listen to your heartbeat, and welcome every emotion—from deep sadness to wild joy—with total acceptance. It is a space where you don’t have to pretend anymore.
Are you curious how different practices of active meditation can support you in feeling yourself? To zoom into you? To tune in?

From: Vedanta Aspioti GROUP DYNAMICS AND ESSENCE:
Sitting in silence can be brutally hard when our bodies are frozen in stress and our minds are racing. Active meditations are based on movement, dance, breath, sounds, shaking, and free expression.
“This is the part where the person is called to practice self awareness, in release or in silence, in movement or in stillness, in order to gain a direct access to oneself and the own center. In the practice of meditation, we do not “meditate away” what we feel and what is coming up within us. We simply take time to feel ourselves and acknowledge it. We turn
within. On the contrary of the avoidant strategies, we pay attention and we embrace what we
experience and feel.
Practicing meditation nourishes our connection to Self. It is the time when the individual is encountering oneself alone. No one is inducing something, no one is speaking, the individual is left in his own space and freedom to understand oneself and sense his own inner flow or process. This is what we call Self awareness that can lead to Self possession. The inner
space of the individual is respected and given room to unfold and be directly experienced.
The person does not need to always listen to something or always identify oneself as a part of something. His right is granted to retreat in his own space, to encounter and meet the Self.
It is a way to connect directly to the inner source. It gives the chance to the person to experience his aloneness and fill up the whole universe with his own presence. This brings expansion and offers the fertile ground to experience the Self.”
If you are curious how meditation can help you to surrender to yourself and to start
embracing all of who you are inside, come and join us
!

This Meditation day can also be a beautiful precursor if you are planning to attend the Black Latifa workshop on the Sunday 21st June.
